There’s alot to be said about walking into your kitchen, looking around and realizing that some of the best beauty ingredients are hiding right there in your cabinets and inside your fridge. From moisturizing to exfoliating, DIY facial masks not only get the job done, but most of them can be made for pennies – especially in comparison to a salon facial.
Keep reading for a look at some of the best facial mask recipes that you can make right at home.
Baking Soda and Orange Juice Mask – this baking soda will exfoliate and rid your skin of blackheads while the orange juice tightens pores. 1 Tsp orange juice 1 Tsp baking soda Mix together and spread a thin layer on face and neck. Let the mask sit for 20 minutes. Rinse, moisturize and enjoy!
Yogurt and Honey Mask – for bright and beautiful skin, the lactic acid in the yogurt will exfoliate and heal blemishes. 1 tablespoon plain yogurt 1 teaspoon honey Dash of ground cinnamon Dash of ground nutmeg Mix together ingredients and apply directly to your skin (it will tingle a little bit), leave it on for 7 to 10 minutes and rinse.
Moisturizing and Brightening Kiwi Mask – this will leave your skin soft and glowing – and will stay good in the refrigerator for up to three weeks! 2 Kiwis Pureed 3 Tbsp Plain Yogurt 1 Tbsp Orange juice 1 Tbsp Almond or Olive Oil Peel kiwi and blend ingredients until smooth. Spread over face and neck. Leave on until dry and rinse thoroughly with warm water.

DIY: Home Mask for Wrinkles
Yolk, Honey and Olive Oil. These are the 3 ingredients you will need to make an anti-wrinkle facial mask. It is inexpensive and right in your home kitchen. Mix it all together in a little cup until a thick paste is formed. Then apply all over your face for about 15 minutes and rinse with warm water. I make sure I do this atleast once every week.
I love my skin at 36 years of age. :)
