Minerals Mate Makeup Tray

What is better than germ free?

I want to introduce you to Mineral Mate. I just used it and I AM IN LOVE! The best thing I have used in a while. Enjoy more space, less waste, no double dipping and more hygienic. Minerals Mate has come out with a new mixing palette. These were designed for mineral makeup, but it can be used for eye shadows, blush and even foundations. So if you mix a shade of foundation that you need you can mix it in this tray and just cover it.

How to use:

APPLYING:
Shake the amount of minerals you want into the appropriate-size well(s). Large wells are best for foundations, blushes and all-over treatments; small wells are perfect for your eye colors. With Minerals Mate, it’s okay if you pour too much product into the wells.
Swirl your brushes in the wells as you did before when using the container lids. Now you have more swirling areas to use to get just the right amount of minerals you want on your brush. So much more control! And, if you have any minerals left, use the caps that came with your Minerals Mate tray to protect them until the next use.

MIXING / FOILING:
Minerals Mate allows you to mix minerals together or use a mixing medium with a small portion of your minerals without contaminating your main supply. Simply use the Minerals Mate tray as an artist would use an artist’s palette, and have fun!

BRUSH CLEANING:
Use the section of the Minerals Mate tray with the ribbed texture as a thumb grip. It even doubles as a scrubbing surface to gently clean your brushes!

It’s top-rack dishwasher safe!

Exfoliate your skin and Glow.

I exfoliate my body face to toe. It removes dead skin but remember to exfoliate your skin no more than 3 times a week. Do not over exfoliate though because it will make your face go flaky and red. Rinse your face in the morning with cool water and use a cleanser that doesn't contain alcohol.

Remember:

  • Don't exfoliate your skin if you are sunburned or have any open cuts or wounds.
  • Be gentle on your face, particularly around your eyes and mouth.
  • Exfoliation is drying to the skin, so you must keep your skin hydrated daily.
  • I do not recommend more than once a week to extremely, dry skin.

Your skin will be soft, touchable and glowing!

Take care of your skin, you only have 1

Thanks,

Your Natural Beauty

Are you a makeup junkie?  and is your makeup can't let people see what you really look like?

Do not get me wrong. I love makeup and makeup loves me. We try to look beautiful but sometimes end up looking a bit artificial. I want this post to remind you that your natural beauty is who you are. It's only one of you and you should enjoy it.

It should also be noted that there are people who tend to use make-up as a kind of mask and this is certainly not good for their mental being. Make-up was never meant to cover up who you are as a person but was designed to highlight a person’s beauty. There are those who get addicted to using it and this is certainly never a good thing. Remember, with everything, moderation is key. The same rings true for make-up as well. The general rule here would be “Less is More.

It might sound like I am telling you to not ever wear makeup. That's not my intentions. I want you to take more care of your skin underneath all that makeup. Many women do not remeber that. Like for example getting facials, sun protection, moisturize, of course eating your fruits and veggies helps from the inside out. Also removing your makeup before you go to bed and changing your pillow case daily. Ofcourse research the makeup that you buy or any skin care product. My favorite advice out of all of these is

Sleep! Sleep! Sleep! It is wonderful and we don't do it nearly enough.

What do you think of this post? Please share your opinions. I respond to everyone. or you can tweet me @gisellstylist

I have no makeup in this pic

Thank you,

Sun against Cancer and Skin aging

With the sunny days ahead I wanted to remind everyone how important it is for skin protection. Skin cancer and skin aging is not cool. We all are at risk and we can protect ourselves and our loved ones. I want to show you some tips and still look good out in the sun.

 For example:

the Floppy Hats, look at this fabulous styles. These are the hats that Kim K, JLO and Vanessa H wear. Top it off with a sute, summer dress just like Vanessa in the picture.

Umbrellas:

Who said umbrellas are for rainy days only? They can be a perfect protection for those hot, sunny days. They can be stylish too.

Sunscreen lotion:

Make sure it says SPF higher than 30 according to the FDA and less than 3 years old. Check the experation date and be safe. Apply before and after pool and even for a walk in the neighborhood.

Coverups:

Tank tops are cool but skin free of cancer is cooler. Try a fashion jacket over the tank on those sunny hours of the day. You won't be sorry. :)

Shades:

Most shades are with rays protection. They can save you from and early wrinkle, you know those crows feet! Use them.

Moisturize Skin:

Sun can really dries your skin. Make sure you moisturize your skin. I use vitamin E lotion daily.

If you see a change in any moles please check with your doctor asap. Let's prevent skin cancer, and delay skin aging. Stay healthy and beautiful!

Thank You,
