Pure Vita C Dual Mic Review by Rojukiss (Vitamin c)

How to use:

1. Due to the nature of vitamin C, use it at night when there is no sunlight.
2. Pump 2~3 times on your hand.
3. Mix the two bags by using your fingers.
4. Spread the mix all over your face thinly.
5. be careful not to touch your eyes.

The importance of vitamin C
When it comes to skin repair, rejuvenation and damage prevention, Vitamin C is hard to beat.
You get 3 big benefits from 1 simple and naturally sourced ingredient. One thing’s for sure, this is a seriously hard-working vitamin!

Vitamin C skin care isn’t just about what you eat.

We all know about the importance of vitamin C. Eating fresh fruit and veggies is a must if you want a healthy body and mind. However, there’s another way you can boost the benefits of vitamin C. Absorbing vitamin C directly into the skin allows you to take a targeted approach - a vitamin C face cream is a simple way to do that.

After using this for couple days, I am so glad I did. Talking about reguvanating skin? I look awake and my face skin looks healthier!

ABOUT THIS PRODUCT:
Apply the natural Vitamin C!
- Rojukiss Pure Vita C Dual Mix keeps the pure vitamin C (which oxidizes fast in the water) in the form of powder and provides the freshly made vitamin C. Oxidized vitamin C loses its effect as vitamin C, an changes its color and scent. Besides, it can damage your skin.
* It absorbs sebum so well that you can wake up with soft and smooth skin.
Why Pure Vitamin C Dual Mix is special?

1. Pure vitamin C is stabilized in a separate container!
To complement the shortcoming of pure vitamin C that oxidize fast in the water, vitamin C Powder and solution are kept separately. When you mix it before use, you can use the freshest vitamin C in the solution that enhances the vitamin absorption to your skin.
2. Comparing with products made by other companies
The vitamin in liquid form changes its color and scent and oxidizes as time goes by. So it is not very effective. Due to the oxidization, old Vitamin c smells bad when you use it. To prevent this from happening, Rojukiss Dual Mix Line products separated vitamin C from solution and minimize the oxidization of vitamin C and provide the freshest vitamin C.

Try it and see what it can do for you. Take care of your face, is the only one you got. Stay fabulous girls!

Pore Tightening Source Serum Review

There is really no product out there that can disappear pores. I do not care what you hear. I can promise you that you can tightened pores, making them smaller. I love my serums. Serum for my hair and serum for my face. I received this product and I have been using for a couple of days and it is a nice product. The texture is soft on the skin and you will not feel greasy or heavy on the face. The skin absorbs it rather quickly so you can apply a 2nd coat if you wish.
The smell is soft but it fades quickly so you have no after smell. You can apply a moisturizer right after. Please remember get monthly facials to keep muscles tighter on the face... Stay gorgous ;)
How to use
1. After washing up, apply the toner, then apply the serum
2. Please reapply if you wish for a 2nd coat

Do you smoke?

I promise I am not Lecturing you , just ENLIGHTENING you. I am going to make this post short and to the point. I used to smoke and I quit  in 2001. Was it hard? OHH yea it was! But so worth it.

For me beauty comes inside out. Why workout, why eat healthy, why get facials and massages? Why, Why, Why? If all you do is smoke your beauty away!

Smoking

  • chokes skin - reduces blood supply to skin , that is why your skin looks yellow and dull. Smoking for 10 minutes decreases oxygen for almost an hour. Toxins build up and accelarates aging.

  • wrinkly skin - destroys collagen and elastin. More wrinkles and sagging skin faster!

  • Ability to heal - wounds take longer to heal and scars are more likely to form.

I am all for skin care. Take care of your skin it's the only one you got. Stay healthy for you and your loved ones! Think about quitting today...

 Please keep visiting daily...

Drown your insides with H2O AKA AS WATER

Picture from InStyle Mag 1/12

Drinking a daily good  amount of water is vital to your health and your insides like I tell my kids. You can never imagine just by drinking a healthy amount of water, you gain tremendous health benefits, and sometimes you can even throw away your migraine medicine or pain killer. Dehydration is what gives humans headaches.

Since I can remeber I love water. I can drink way more than 8 glasses daily. I pressure my family to drink water. I think it is so important for your insides especially your outside like your skin.

Some Benefits are:

The water:

  • Transports nutrients and oxygen into cells
  • Moisturizes the air in lungs
  • Helps with metabolism
  • Protects our vital organ
  • Helps our organs to absorb nutrients better
  • Regulates body temperature
  • Detoxifies
  • Protects and moisturizes our joints

Every cell in your body needs water from head to toe. That is why it is so important to drink enough fluid. Take for example, brain consists of 90% of water, if you do not supply enough water to your body, your brain cannot function well, and you will get headache or migraine. Next time you feel a headache it can be a sign of dehydration...DOn't ignore it, Water it. Maybe you wont need more tylenol after all!

One of the many important benefits is:

You will look younger when your skin is properly hydrated. Water helps to replenish skin tissues, moisturizes skin and increases skin elasticity. this is what I am TALKING about! Skin CARE!

Thank you for reading,
I am all for hair and skin care and hey beauty comes from the inside out... Don't you think?

Hair problems: no VOLUME, dry at the ENDS, & oily ROOTS

Before I start this post I want to confirm I am a Professional Cosmetologist for 10 years. So I call myself a beauty expert :) which I love it!

I recieved a question via twitter from a lady having no volume in her hair so here is my post on this topic.

You are probably shampooing your hair everyday, and that can strip away natural oils (making hair dry), so your scalp over produces oil to make up for it. Shampoo every other day instead, like I do, and follow with conditioner to the middle of the hair to ends. Use dry shampoo in between hair washes, dry shampoos cuts oils out and gives volume at the same time. It is important to use a "light conditioner" and do not apply at the oily roots or you can even get away not conditioning your roots if they are really oily, just applying conditioner at the middle to ends of the hair... For really dry ends after you leave the shower and towel dry hair you can use a leave in conditioner.  Remember use leave in conditioner from the middle to the ends of your hair. Also take in consideration is important to use hair products for your hair type. This make a huge difference....

Follow my blog, I have more great posts about conditioners and other problems.

Renewing Cleansing Cream Resurgence by Murad

Murad Facial line care products is my favorite. I have used many products and I love each and everyone of it. Although I like this product but the only thing I do not care for is the texture (not really a negative) it is soft texture, kinda slippery feel. I rather like it with little rocks in there. It is just my preference. I want to feel more rough then soft. I do not know why lol. It is worth buying because when you done cleansing your skin, you look so much brighter and you see no traces of makeup on the face.  It gently exfoliates, boosts hydration and restores skin's natural moisture barrier plus tones skin all in one. It is important to exfoliate daily.

Primary Benefits:
Lifts away dull, dry skin cells and Reveals radiant skin surface. For a 6.75 FL. OZ. price $35. Not bad for the price huh?

Thank you again for reading my post.

How to pick out the BEST Blow Dryer tool

Is a $300 hair dryer really better than a $25 hair dryer?
Do you really need a better quality hair dryer? Well, it depends - do you really need healthy, strong hair that isn't brittle or frayed? We think paying a little more for a quality hair dryer is a reasonable investment.

Let's break down some of the features you should look for in a quality hair dryer - and more importantly, why.

The Heating Element:

Cheap hair dryers normally use metal or plastic heating elements that burn with intense and uneven heat. Essentially, they dry your hair by cooking the water out of it - literally boiling it off. That is why is important to soak and air dry most of the humidity first before really straight blowing it out.
With high-end hair dryers, ceramic heating is the standard. Ceramic has remarkable properties of heat conduction - which you may know, because modern space heaters and similar home technology tend to use ceramic.

This is because ceramic produces "far infrared heat" which is radiant - it penetrates the hair shaft safely, instead of heating from the outside in. This also explains why ceramic flat irons &; curling irons are the choice of professionals.

Ceramic, which can be infused with tourmaline or other elements, produces a gentle heat that means ceramic heating is safer - ceramic space heaters won't catch things on fire the way metal ones are prone to do, and ceramic hair dryers won't blast your hair with harmful energy.

"Ionic" drying:

Cheap hair dryers that use metal or plastic elements diffuse positive ions that cause the (normally neutral) cuticle covering of the hair shaft to open, causing frizz and dull appearance.

Ionic hair dryers produce negatively charged ions, which cause the cuticle to remain flat, "trapping" moisture, eliminating frizz and giving hair more body.

Plus, they dry hair faster than regular dryers and leave it shinier and smoother. This is because they don't "cook" your hair dry like the old metal or plastic coils did - they actually break down water molecules in your hair instead. Ionic dryers also banish the static electricity that results in a flyaway mess of hair.

Tourmaline:

Tourmaline was recently introduced to the hair science for its incredible capability to generate negative ions. With more negative ions, a hair dryer can dry faster (up to 75%) for unbelievably sleeker, shiny hair. We carry a number of high performance tourmaline dryers.

Tourmaline hair dryers can be combined with tourmaline treated brushes or other heat styling tools like tourmaline flat irons to add to the shiny, sleek effect.

Wattage:

While wattage varies among hair dryers, we always recommend something 1300 watts or above (unless a travel hair dryer). All of our professional hair dryers fit this category. Wattage directly affects how fast your hair dries (higher watts = more time to snooze in the morning).

Cool Shot options available on most hair dryers create a blast of cool air which is useful when setting finished styles - you can use it to dry finishing sprays or similar setting products.

I hope this post helps you a little. If you have more questions ask me here on a comment or email me too.

Gisell xoxo

Aguacate (Avocado)

Avocado oil is one of the most highly penetrative oils among the plant oils, and its so moiturizing as well as sun protection.

Some people may use avocado as a deep conditon on the hair and than rinsed out after just like mayonnaise as well. You can find coconut oil almost anywhere in the beauty isle and read directions. Use as a deep conditioner. Not to mention it taste so yummy with food.

What do you use as a home deep condition, kitchen food on your hair??

Neutrogena Brightening eye perfector review

I love the new Neutrogena Healthy Skin Brightening Eye Perfector. It's a bargain at only $13.99 but I compare its application to other products. The most impressive aspect of this undereye concealer is that it has SPF 25. Sun protection for that fragile part of the face it's a must. So far this has looked great, covered our ever-darkening eye area, and stayed in place all day with no irritation.

Neutrogena Brightening Eye Perfector instantly brightens, conceals, de-puffs and treats dark circles for refreshed, rested-looking eyes. ($13.99 available at neutrogena.com)

Try it and let me know what you think?

Thanks

Ambi Fade Cream Review

This is my second product that I use for dark spots from break out on my face or sometimes I get on my back. This product you must use it for about 2 weeks to see results and I recommend to use just on the specific troubled spots. To be honest I do not like the smell of it. It is not a strong, unpleasant smell but I personally do not like it. So with that said the best use to use this product would be at night. I use it mostly before bed - mainly because i don't like the thick creamy texture of the product for daytime use.

This product is great for fading dark spots, but low on the scale as a daily moisturizer. AMBI® Fade Cream effectively fades dark spots and skin discolorations without changing the skin’s natural tone. For the great  price

($5.49 available at www.drugstore.com)

Neova Intense Brightening Complex Repair Review

Let me introduce you to this amazing product. It tones uneven marks on your face from previous break outs without harming the skin. After exfoliating consider using Neova’s Intense Brightening Complex ($49) which is a serum to correct uneven skin tone. The copper peptide complex works with the body’s defense system to help cells restore themselves while working with Licorice extract to inhibit hyperpigmentation and help with any inflammation on the skin.

NEOVA® Intense Brightening Complex contains Phenylalanine, an amino acid that decreases melanin pigments in the skin and prevents further melanin synthesis from occurring, effectively preventing hyperpigmentation from reaching the skin surface.

($49 but well worth it and it is available at nextderm.com and dermatologists nationwide)

Try it you will love it!

Make Dead Hair Live

Dead hair is like a dead corpse to me, but there are steps you can do to make it better looking. Dead hair is best to cut it off and start all over again. Ofcourse some of us can't do that! Soooo...

Start by trimming it. Trim atleast 4 to 6 weeks atleast half inch. This removes the split ends and keeps the hair from splitting into two. That's why trims are very important.

Give it a special treatment. A very successful one is treating your hair with, It's a 10 products. Click for more product info

Don't wash your hair more than once every two days. By doing this you are dehydrating the hair.

Change to a shampoo for 'Damage Repair' or 'Protein Care'.

Condition your hair. It avoids tangles in your hair. Putting a leave-in conditioner on makes it better.

When your hair is wet, it's better to use a comb than a brush. Avoid using brushes as they damage your hair

There are many products you can do to your hair to make it look better. You can try hair serum. It eases frizz in your hair.

Make sure that when you're doing the oil treatment, you don't make it very hot as the oil would hurt and damage your scalp.

Avoid using a straightening or a curling iron very often.

Try it as your hair grows healthy your trimming the dead off!

thank you

Why are Antioxidants good for your SKIN?

Like I said many posts before, I am all about hair and skin care, from the INSIDE TO THE OUTSIDE.

What are Antioxidants?

Apparently fruit and vegetables are full of them, and they’re claimed to help prevent disease and delay aging (slower wrinkling lol). If you're like most people, you want smooth, healthy skin, but maybe you don't want to wade through hundreds of chemically laden products to get it. That's where antioxidants can help. Incorporating the right antioxidants into your diet and skin care routine can have a positive effect on your skin.

Antioxidants are nutrients (vitamins and minerals) and enzymes (proteins inside your body) that can help to prevent and repair damage to your body's tissue. Antioxidants do this by slowing or preventing the effect of free radicals, which start oxidation -- a process that causes damage from oxygen that can lead to cell dysfunction. If you've seen a peeled apple turn brown, you've seen oxidation in action. As antioxidants block the effects of free radicals, they end up being oxidized. This is why it's important to constantly replenish your supply of antioxidants.

When it comes to caring for your skin, antioxidants can help to protect your skin from the damaging effects of the sun. Unlike sunscreens and moisturizers, antioxidants can protect your skin from the inside out by guarding your cells from damage. Vitamins A, C and E and the mineral selenium are thought to be particularly helpful in skin care. In addition to helping fortify cells against free radicals, vitamins A and C also encourage cell and tissue growth, helping the body to repair itself. This is very helpful to the skin, which is constantly shedding and regrowing cells. For this reason, any antioxidants that protect cells and encourage cell growth could be helpful in an anti-aging regimen, as they may help fight fine lines and wrinkles.

Ladies and gentlemens this post is for both sexes! If you take care your insides, outside will GLOW!

Fine, Tangled and RUDELY hair

Hi Readers. Today I was asked a beauty question and I wanted to share with my readers. Before I show you I just want to say I appreciate you reading my posts.
Question by Andrea Deierlein

‎**Hey... I was wondering if u could recommend a good shampoo, conditioner and leave in.. My hair is verrrrry thin and tangles within seconds! I just had a single process color done about a month ago and hair has been BEYOND unmanageable since! Couldn't get a comb thru hair yesterday in shower and had to go to salon just to have it washed and combed! Anything you could recommend?? Currently in my shower are Matrix Biolage shampoo & conditioner for dry hair, Graham Webb shampoo, and Paul Mitchell conditioner and none of them are doing any good!!! Thanks!!** I hope this helps you!!!!!!!

Things like chlorine, going to the beach, and windy car rides can result in frizzy, tangled, dry, and seemingly unmanageable hair. Trying to reverse the damage can lead to more, if you don't know the proper way to detangle and condition your hair.  Hair conditioners protect the hair, make it smooth and easier to manage. They also improve the texture, body and appearance of hair.  Preventing hair tangles from occurring initially is the best tangled hair solution, FOR SURE!

Some preventions:

•You can prevent hair tangles by being careful when you style your hair. Take your time and don't back comb or do any flipping your head over especially if you have long hair.

•Don't allow your hair to be free if you live in a windy climate. The wind will just blow your hair all over the place!

•Use a moisturizing conditioner and always comb the conditioner through. Let the conditioner sit for a while before rinsing in the shower.

•Use a detangling, leave-in conditioner before you begin to style your hair. Remember to apply it and comb it through in sections.

•Before going to bed, always detangle your hair and apply a light moisturizer. Remember to pin you hair up (or roll it or wrap it). Wear a satin scarf or sleep on a satin pillowcase.

•Keep your hair trimmed. Split ends and breakage can cause more tangles to occur as the rough cuticle catch on to each other. I am sure you have noticed that after you get a trim, your hair is so much easier to manage. This is one of the reasons for that. Make and appointment with me :)

•Finally, you can prevent hair tangles by wearing your hair up. Funny that wearing your hair up can be the solution for so many things. But wearing your hair up can prevent tangled from wind, sleeping, exercising, etc.

Learning tangled hair solutions requires that you understand the causes of hair tangles in the first place.

Hair tangles are causes by not combing your hair regularly, washing with your hair piled on your head, letting the wind blow your hair all over, sleeping without hair protection and not using moisturizing, detangling hair products.

Fortunately, there are many things you can to do remove tangles should this happen to you occasionally or regularly.

Remove Tangles

If you want to remove tangles with the least amount of hair loss, you must have patience and the right tools.

•If your hair is tangly while wet, you should take a wide-tooth comb and detangle your hair under the shower head.

•For additional detangling, apply hair conditioner and detangle under the shower head. Detangling under the shower head is probably the most effective of all tangled hair solutions.

•If your hair is already dry and you endure some tangles from wind or sleeping, take some hair SERUM (click for another post of mine) and apply it to your hair. Then gently detangle with a wide-tooth comb section by section. Always remove tangles section by section.

•If you tangle your hair while combing or brushing, don't yank the comb or brush from your hair. Instead, carefully remove each individual hair strand by strand from the tool. Don't try to reverse the direction of the comb or brush. This typically just causes more tangles.

•If your hair is tangly due to using hair spray or other styling products, wet your hair first and detangle under the shower head. Detangling under the shower-head works for almost any type of hair tangles

Shower Steps

1

Put loads of moisturizing conditioner in your hair while in the shower, because wet hair takes less damage than dry. Rub the conditioner in.

2

Detangle the hair by using a wide-toothed comb. Gently comb through from ends to roots until all of the tangles are loose.

3

Shampoo.

4

Condition just the ends of your hair once more.

5

Rinse hair with cool water for sleeker, shiner strands.

6

Comb and then brush hair. Comb first to prevent breakage.

7

Let air dry. Your hair has already suffered enough; blow-drying it will help dry out you hair. If you truly must blow-dry, keep the heat setting on cool.

Bonus Tips

If your hair is still tangled, try using a leave in conditioner after your shower.

Avoid tangled hair in the first place by securing long hair in a tight braid or bun.

Be patient.

Take care of your hair in general (wash frequently) and you will be much less prone to annoying frizz and tangles.

Final Conclusion

I hope you have found your ANSWER within these tangled hair solutions. If you've already tried some of them, give some of the others a try. What you think about this post? I love comments!

*Warnings*

Do not get shampoo in your eyes. It doesn't do any damage but it hurts a lot!

Last but not least products I recommned is "It's a 10" a bit expensive but well worth it!!!

Thank you

My secret to smooth, soft FEET

We all love pedicures I know. Sometimes, depending on the season feet can become more dryer than other times. To be honest I do not get pedicures anymore or atleast not as much as I used to. I keep toe nails and cuticles trim and I scrub my heels weekly in the shower.
My secret is which I am sure many people know, before I go to bed I dump a big amount of vaseline all over my feet, then put socks on, as soon as you wake up in the morning your feet looks and feel GLORIOUS! If you don't know then it is time to know! What are you waiting for? Try it and come back and leave me a comment :)

Benefit of vaseline:

It forms an occlusive barrier to the natural water loss of our skin. So skin that is dry and chapped is protected from drying elements, enabling skin-softening moisture to build up naturally from inside the skin itself. Vaseline is a mixture of mineral oils, paraffin when blended together, it create something remarkable - a smooth jelly that has a melting point just above body temperature. The result - it literally melts into skin, flowing into the spaces between cells and the gaps in our lipid barrier. Once there, it re-solidifies, locking itself in place.  So it locks all moisture in!
