I been trying this lotion for a week and half now and I am happy to say that I like it. My face feels and looks more toned. It glows a little bit more that usual. Dandruff or Dry Scalp, which one is it?



I been going through this itchy stuff on my head for so long. I decided to write a post about it because I feel that you might need my help! You feel an itchy, dry scalp so you automatically think is dandruff but it might be dry scalp. How to determine?

If your scalp is itchy, oily and red this is dandruff. Do not worry you are not alone. Many people have this condition especially this time of the year. It can get worse in winter. I used Head and Shoulders for a while. It did take away some of my itching but not the dandruff. So I tried Selsum Blue it contains the ingredient "selenium sulfide" which kills the fungus that causes dandruff and BOY did that work. Although Head and Shoulder does contain this ingredient it did not help me.Selsum Blue is so amazing. I used to shampoo my hair twice a week with Selsum Blue. You can alternate with your regular shampoo also.

Dry Scalp is itchy and can be oily with minimal flakes or no flakes. You can try putting scalp oil from Mazani before the shampoo and condition like normal. It usually helps. Winter weather is harsh for your skin as well. Try washing your hair every other day instead of daily. Less is more. I hope this helps.

Learn to love your CURLY Hair

Do you always blow out your hair? Well, it is time to start loving your curls. Many people do not know how to take care of their curls, that is why they are always straightening their hair. It is 2012 common try something new. Curly hair is beautiful too. I think we have the best of both worlds. We have natural curls and we can straighten it with a blow out. Straight hair people can not do that unless they get a chemical permanent wave that can start cost $80 and  up. So I will give you guys a few tips so you can start enjoying your natural curls!

  • It is important to use the right type of shampoo and conditioner for your hair. I posted Redken, BedHead and Cat Walk just for curls. Top, best lines that I use myself. Love them.
  • We all know trimming your hair every 6 to 8 weeks keeps your ends healthier. 
  • You simply cannot over-condition frizzy hair. You need a heavy conditioner for use every time you wash your hair, and a deep conditioner for use once a week.
  • Smoothing cream and alcohol-free gel, you need to coat the cuticle so it locks out moisture. 
  • Comb the product throughout all of your hair evenly with a wide-toothed comb.
  • Styling cream enhance your curls with a cream created for curly hair. Rub it in and let hair airdry.
  • Style serum warm up a couple drops of this in your hands and palm over dry, frizzy curls. The serum will solve your frizz problems. 
  • Put Away the Blow Dryer to combat the frizzies, refrain from blow dryer overuse. Adding heat to air only increases the problem. Instead, finger-comb hair, letting curls air-dry for as long as possible (luckily, because your hair tends to be dry, so you may not need to wash hair more than a couple times a week). Never rub hair dry with a towel, instead squeeze moisture out with paper towels.
  • If you must use a blow dryer, use a diffuser. Hold the blow dryer under hair, and dry by cupping and squeezing hair in your palms from below (never scrunch curls, you'll invite frizz).
  • If you don't use a diffuser, aim the blow dryer nozzle downward, in the direction hair grows.

Ways to Destress and fall in love with life...




I am all about good health from the inside to the outside.  Our health is very important. We only live once so let's live it good and happy. Easier said than done? I understand, it is not easy with our everyday life struggles. I am here to show you some ideas you can try at home when you are feeling overwhelmed. Please try atleast one and come back and comment below to let me know your feeling better?

Stress can take a toll on our health. Stress makes us age faster, we get more gray hairs and many health problems even weight gain... Trust me we do not want that. 


Let's glow ladies and gentlemen!

Here are a few ideas out of many:

I encourage you to try at least one of these:



  1. Take a breather, a time out for yourself. Move away from a situation to another room. Breathing through your nose and out your mouth can calm you down. Count to ten, by ten you should already feel yourself start to relax. Then your mind is a little more clearer.
  2. Every morning when you wake up open all window blinds and let the light come in!. Sunshine rays can change your mood to happy. If the weather permits, crack that window all the way up and enjoy the sound of the birds. Besides our skin needs SUN.
  3. If you are a workaholic than ask yourself when was the last time you took a mini vacation. Maybe is time for 3 day vacation. Take a bff with you. It really can help to restore you back up.
  4. Zumba for an hour can really help. It is not about working out, it is also to dance and let loose. Dance like no one is watching...and get toned at the same time ;) Also yoga is a proven stress exercise. You can Google yoga in  your area and get into some classes.
  5. Get out the house. Go for a walk and breath fresh air. Enjoy the outside and less inside. 
  6. If something is bothering you very personal in your life than maybe is time to forgive someone or come clean about something you did. This also will really help your stress. Let's enjoy life.. Live, be happy and love.
