My Radiant Skin

Just because you partied all night doesn't mean you have to look like it in the morning. What you eat and don't eat shows on your face. Take some of my tips and I will have your face glowing.

Vitamin E - brightens drab skin. I eat Almonds and I also drink orange juice for my Vitamin C. Vitamin C also helps fight wrinkles and banish under eye bags. I eat Apricots for Vitamin A that helps produce cells. We also know that water is a miracle potion. If you want great skin you must hydrate-water dissolves nutrients from food and helps transport them to skin cells. Drink atleast 8 cups daily! A must

My favorite that I love is Salmon. Salmon contains omega 3 fatty acids and helps boost collagen. Making skin soft. Heathy stuff. Try it you might like it. I hope you enjoyed my post and come back soon.

Vitamin E and Wrinkles

You can find vitamins in so many forms such as foods, supplement pills, and even skin lotions. What are the benefits of Vitamin E, you ask yourself? Well it is needed for the care of the skin. This is why I am here to tell you all about it. ;)

How does it work?

Vitamin E is an important vitamin required for the proper function of many organs in the body. It is also an antioxidant. This means it helps to slow down processes that damage cells.
It's common knowledge that vitamin E is good for your skin, but not many people could tell you exactly what this nutrient does and vitamin E is an antioxidant that protects and repairs your skin.
Antioxidants are agents that neutralize the oxidant effect of free radicals, which are molecules that damage collagen and cause skin dryness, fine lines and wrinkles. Vitamin E is one of the most powerful antioxidants, but your body can't produce it, which means you have to make sure you're getting enough of this valuable nutrient in your diet. Eating foods high in vitamin E and taking vitamin E supplements if you can't get enough through your food intake can can help prevent premature aging of your skin.

Some of many jobs for the Vitamin E:

Vitamin E acts as a powerful antioxidant by neutralizing free radicals in the body that cause tissuedamage.

itamin E also contributes to a healthy circulatory system and aids in proper blood clotting and improves wound healing.

Vitamin E is also used for diabetes and its complications. It is used for preventing cancer, particularly lung and oral cancer in smokers.

Women use vitamin E for preventing complications in late pregnancy due to high blood pressure,   (PMS), painful periods, menopausal syndrome, hot flashes, and breast cysts.

Vitamin E is sometimes used for improving physical endurance, increasing energy, reducing muscle damage after exercise, and improving muscle strength.

Vitamin E is also used for cataracts, asthma, respiratory infections, skin disorders, AGING SKIN, sunburns, for certain inherited diseases and to prevent allergies.

Some people apply vitamin E to their skin to keep it from aging and it also helps on skin's dark spots.

Let's slow down aging process ladies and look fabulous. We only have 1 skin why not take care of it now.

Hope you enjoyed this post,

How to feed your hair!

How do you feed your hair? Hair is fed by what you put in your body. You eat good food, your hair will show it. You smoke? Your hair will also show it. Here I put together some vitamins that you can purchase at any local store to help any vitamis you lack. Check it out and tell me what you think.

Vitamins:

Vitamin C

Vitamin C prevents hair loss because it acts as an anti-oxidant. The suggested dose is 500 to 1000 mg taken twice daily. Fruits and vegetables contain vitamin C, especially citrus fruits such as lemons, limes, grapefruit and oranges.

Omega 3 Fatty Acids

Omega 3 fatty acids are a healthy form of oil found in fish, especially salmon and sardines. The recommended dose is one tablespoon of fish oil a day to prevent hair loss. Those taking aspirin and other blood thinning drugs should consult with a doctor before taking fish oils, because they can increase the tendency for bleeding.

Lysine

Lysine is an amino acid and one of the building blocks of protein. Because hair is made of protein, adding lysine to the diet helps prevent hair loss. The suggested dosage is 500 to 1000 mg daily. Lysine is found in meat and eggs.

B vitamins

B vitamins reduce the stress that can cause hair loss. The best way to take B vitamins is in a complex where all of the B vitamins are combined. B vitamins are found in brewer`s yeast and in red meat.

Vitamin D

Vitamin D is actually a hormone and because hair loss can be connected to hormones, adding vitamin D to the diet grows hair. Vitamin D can be synthesized on the skin after it is exposed to sunlight, but taking additional vitamin D helps prevent a deficiency. The recommended daily dose of vitamin D has been 400 IU per day but research now suggests that daily intake as high as 4000 IU is beneficial.

Vitamin A

Vitamin A stimulates the hair follicle where hair growth begins. Carrots are a good source of vitamin A, as are other dark green and red vegetables.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E is important for the circulation in the body and has been shown to grow blood vessels, which increases circulation. The increased circulation improves the body`s ability to make new hair. The recommended daily dose of vitamin E is 400 IU. Capsules of vitamin E can also be applied to the hair and scalp as a hair tonic for dry hair. Topical application also directly stimulates the capillaries on the scalp and helps prevent hair loss.

The Importance of SCALP CARE

I decided to write about the importance of scalp care. You always hear about hair care, hair conditioners, trims, and ect. We hardly ever here of the care of the scalp. This is why I cannot stress enough the importance of scalp care & massage. It stimulates the blood flow to your scalp and boosts the oxygen intake of your hair's follicles, resulting in faster-growing hair. Plus, it's so relaxing!

Also I love vitamins. It helps your skin, scalp, nails and hair. Try it and you will be happy with the results. You can also opt for vitamin E supplements which are available in the form of tablets or capsules. Vitamin E too is help for hair growth. Vitamin E prevents hair breakage and makes them healthy and shiny. Don't forget we are what we eat, eating good food also benefits hair, skin and nails. The picture below is my personal vitamins I use myself. I take 3 capsules daily. Only $6.99
