My Personal Tips for Flawless Skin

Having flawless skin is absolutely my thing! When my skin is glowing and blemish free, I project a confident self. I feel sexy and extremely proud for my age. When my skin looks dull, dry or I am battling zits and other blemishes, I feel self conscious and shy.

1. Remove your makeup everyday. A must!
2. Drink lots of water daily and drink less soda. Stay hydrated!
3. Get your beauty sleep, at least 7 hours daily.
4. At night, try using retinoids. Helps with wrinkles and also fades spots and scarring.
5. Don’t overuse acne products. This can lead to drying and in some cases severe drying. Follow the recommended instructions.
6. Use sunscreen. This is an absolute. Look for oil free or sunscreen made specifically to not clog pores.
7. Don't stress. Try a new thing called yoga and RELAX!
8. Read books. Books takes your mind to other places.

• Go soft and subtle on the cheeks and eyes.
• Try cream-based blush in a rosy tone.

 Also I drink a lot of orange juice (vitamin C) which it is important for the skin and to prevent a winter cold.

Q. Please tell us a little about Dora?

I am a city girl that can’t live without coffee, books and music. I was born in Albania and moved to Toronto, Canada when I was fourteen years old. When I was ten years old I discovered my passion for writing. It’s one of my biggest passions and I don’t think I will ever stop. Q. Any projects presently working on? Any future projects?
 
I am currently working on my first novel The Game. The Game is about fashion, dangerous love, strong friendship bonds and a C.E.O that everybody in the fashion world can’t get enough. The Game is a passionate love story with a lot of heated scenes. I am also working on three eBook novellas. The Delicious Series are all about fudge cakes, and one play boy that loves to play with sweets. The series are short, sexy and funny.
I can’t wait to share them!


Q. Please tell me what is your morning beauty routine?
   
When I wake up in the morning first thing that I do wash my face with Olay shine minimizing cleanser. I’ve been using it for quite sometimes now and I love it. After, I use the Garnier face wash and just like that my day gets better. I can’t live without these two products.


Q. What style are you sporting presently?
 
Lately I’ve been wearing a lot of long Maxi dresses. I love everything girly girl and I am open to trying new things. I don’t have a specific style. I love to match things depending on my mood.


Q. Any beauty product you can’t live without?

Yes, my foundation Almay and Maroccanoil. These are two products that every girl should have. They are the best!


Q. What is in your shower? Ex. Shampoos, Cond etc?

For my hair I use Garnier Fructis shampoo with the same conditioner. For body shower I use Sweet Pea from Bath &; Body Works. After the shower I use the Japanese Cherry Blossom body lotion. I’m a huge fan of Bath &; Body Works, every time I shop in there I end up buying half of the store. *Sighs*


Q. Are you into skin care?

Yes I am. Every time a pimple decides to show up, I freak out. I have tried Proactiv before and it helped me a lot. At the moment I am using Marcelle moisturiser and Derma Repair herbal masque.

I've never previously tried anything from AA before so I am pretty excited. I am obsessed with anything skin care. I loved these products. The texture of the mask is very liquid-y and almost turns to water open applying. Nothing wrong with this, I quite liked it. Like water also it's transparent completely which was one of the key features for me as it was a big contender for my in-flight pamper session that i've got planned. It spreads easily and you don't need much to cover the entire face. It looks very much like you've splashed your face with water once applied but this dries relatively quickly - around 3-5 minutes until it has disappeared and gone invisible - no shine or residue. To be honest it doesn't look or feel like you need to wash anything off! It leaves the skin feeling tights and that I love! Odd considering it is supposed to 'moisturising and renewing'... Having said that I did enjoy using it and my skin felt clean and toned with a subtle rosy scent lingering. The aroma for me is just right - I love rose scented products.
