Exposed Skin Care Products

This is my review on the Exposed Skin Care line. This is a four step night and day kit. It includes a facewash, toner, a day cream, a night cream, and a washcloth. The expanded kit has the moisturizer with it.

For me was its use of natural products. I have sensitive skin, so trying to stay away from harsh chemicals is a must. The website claims it is for all skin types and the acne medication part of their formula is suppose to be gentle for the skin. I love gentle products with gentle ingredients.

Product Texture/Application:

Step 1: Facewash: The first you do is wash your face. You only need a bit and it lathers up really well. I washed my face with lukewarm water and rinsed with lukewarm water.

Step 2: Toner: I think out of all the steps, the toner was my favorite. I applied it with a cotton square and it felt amazing on the skin. Instant cooling effect and it closes pores. One of my favorite products but the moisturizer wins for me.

Step 3:Clear Pore Serum (Night)/Acne Treatment Serum (Day): The night treatment cleans out your pores and fight acne at night. The day serum is suppose to prevent acne and keep the skin clear of those nasty acne producing bacteria.  They both spread very easily and you only need a wee bit amount. They both smell awful. I think out of all the bottles, these two are the worse. But then again, these are the products that are most important, so all the medication is here.

Step 4: Moisturizer: I loved. Kept my face moisturize all day. This part is very important to me.

Results/Review: I was IN LOVE with the product the two weeks I used the kit. My skin when to normal and I didn't get any other blemish. It also reduced or completely destroyed any acne I did have on my face. I really thought I found the perfect product for me and you.

 

How to Protect Your Hair from the Summer Sun and Pools

 

Summer is coming – there’s really no stopping it – and, while that’s great news for all of us beach lovers, summer adventures often take a toll on our hair. Whether you’re out in the sun all day or are hitting the pool, the sun, salt and chlorine can destroy your mane. So what can you do protect it? Here are some tips you can try:

 

 

Rinse your hair before you go in the water. Sounds odd, right? If you saturate your hair in cool, clean water first, your hair is less likely to immediately absorb all that salt or chlorine. Think of the extra rinse as an extra layer of protection. I also apply a leave in conditioner and secure in a bun.

Rinse and repeat conditioner!  After spending a day at the pool or the beach remember to thoroughly rinse your hair with cool, fresh water when you get out of the water. You can even look for an after-pool chlorine rinse or shampoo to help get every ounce of those harsh chemicals out.

Sunscreen for your hair! Believe it or not, your hair is just as sensitive as your skin and lathering up with shampoo and conditioner that includes sun protection.

Moisturize. By giving your hair the extra moisture it craves, you can build up the strength in the shaft of the hair. This added strength will help your locks protect themselves from the penetration of chlorine and other harmful pool chemicals. In other words, load up on the conditioner and give your hair an extra special treat with occasional leave-in treatments. never enough protection, I say.

Get a regular trim. Trims will help the healthy hair stand strong against the tough UV rays, salt water and harsh pool chemicals. When your hair is already dry, its defenses are down and the results will just mean more dry hair. Trim those ends and start summer with a healthy head of hair.

I really like how all Murad products are labeled with a number on each bottle that signifies what order you need to apply them. Skin care with all it's serums and moisturizers, can get pretty confusing sometimes, so I appreciate the clarity.

The first step in this regimen is the Refreshing Cleanser. This cleanser is gentle and hydrating while still giving you a deep clean. After using it, my skin feels very clean and soft. It comes in a really big tube, and the product lathers, so you don't have to use a lot. A little can go along way.

The next step is to apply the Complete Reform. This product firms, exfoliates and provides softer, smoother skin day and night. It's supposed to increase firmness 61% after just one application. I agree that my skin feels more firm and tight after application as well as more hydrated.

The third step is the Perfecting Day Cream. This cream not only moisturizes, but it also protects your skin from harmful UVA and UVB rays, as it contains SPF 30. It has the same consistency and scent as sunscreen, but it doesn't leave your skin as oily. My skin feels supremely moisturized after application.

My Opinion:

 I love this line of skin care products. It's one of my favorites. All of the products work so well together and on my skin. My skin has been looking healthier and more radiant than ever.
