Get out of the kitchen if you can't stand the HEAT!

Heat is like fire!

I really educate my clients on the importance of protecting your hair against the heat. Flat irons, curling iron and hair dryers can get as hot as 475 degrees.

Heat Styling is a leading cause in damaged hair. Heat breaks hair's cuticle and withdraws moisture leaving hair dry and damage.

*So what is the solution for heat damage hair you might be asking? The answer is an amazing short cut or atleast cutting all damaged part off!

Preventions: I am listing a few of *many
  1. lowering the heat to your flat irons
  2. wearing a hat on sunny days
  3. more spray tanning less tanning beds
  4. using keratin and moisture leave-in contioners before a blow dry and then using a heat protection products before the hot tools
What are some of your preventions? Share with me and comment them.

  2. Hi there. Thanks for those informations. I know someone who damaged her hair with a heat, and after that she complains and she doesn't know what to do. I told her that she would go to a hair stylist or just washing her hair, and do not wear that heat ever.
